| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios facing three-quarters to the right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with richly curled hair from which multiple pointed sun rays emanate in all directions around the skull. The face is modeled with pronounced plasticity, featuring almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and slightly parted lips. The die work is of high quality, characteristic of the Rhodian mint tradition, with the effigy filling the flan boldly against a plain field. No legend is present on the obverse. |

| Reverse description | A fully open rose viewed directly from above occupies the center of the reverse, with the letters P (Ρ) and O (Ο) flanking the bloom to left and right respectively, forming the abbreviated ethnic of Rhodes. Below the rose a grain ear is visible, and above it a palm branch extends across the upper field. The design is enclosed within a dotted border. The composition is characteristic of the long-running Rhodian drachm series of the Plinthophoric standard. |
