Obverse description Janiform archaic female busts facing left and right, rendered in the Archaic Greek style with characteristic frontal symmetry. Each head is adorned with a diadem, earrings, and a necklace, with hair parted at the forehead and arranged in parallel strands. The double-headed effigy is depicted with the rigid, stylized facial features typical of early fifth-century BC Greek coinage. A border of dots frames the design within the coin field.
