Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with softly modelled features, parted lips, and flowing hair bound by a laurel wreath with berried sprays. The portrait is executed with high relief and naturalistic detail characteristic of Cretan coinage of the period. A beaded border encircles the entire field.
