Obverse description Warrior on horseback galloping to the right, depicted in full armour with a crested helmet and spear held diagonally across the body. The rider's cloak streams behind him in dynamic fashion, conveying motion and martial vigour characteristic of Pamphylian coinage of this period. The field is plain and the flan shows the characteristic irregular edge typical of hammered ancient silver coinage. A beaded border encircles the design.
