Obverse description Bust of Demeter or Kore (Persephone) depicted in three-quarter right-facing view, wearing a wreath of grain ears; the hair is rendered in fine waves drawn back from the face. The portraiture reflects the Classical Greek tradition, with softly modeled facial features characteristic of Boeotian silver coinage of the mid-third century BC. No legend or inscription appears in the field.

Reverse description Standing figure of Poseidon facing right, depicted in the heroic nude, holding a trident in his extended left hand and a dolphin in his right; to the right, a monogram appears above a Boeotian shield rendered in high relief. The ethnic legend ΒΟΙΩΤΩN is inscribed in the field, identifying the issuing authority. The composition is bold and well-centered, consistent with the official coinage of the Boeotian League.
