Obverse description Draped bust of a youthful deity, likely Persephone or a river nymph, facing left, with elaborately curled hair adorned with a floral ornament behind the ear. The facial features are rendered in a refined Sicilian style characteristic of the late Classical period, with soft modelling of the cheek and chin. The hair falls in loose, wavy locks over the neck and shoulder. The field is plain, with no visible legend on this side.
