Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet adorned with a prominent crest and a flowing horsehair plume cascading to the left. The goddess's facial features are rendered in fine Hellenistic style with naturalistic detail, framed by wavy locks of hair visible beneath the helmet's cheek guards. The flan fills the field entirely, with the portrait occupying the full diameter in high relief characteristic of the Sidetan civic coinage.
