Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet adorned with a prominent crest and a flowing horsehair plume cascading to the left. The goddess's facial features are rendered in fine Hellenistic style with naturalistic detail, framed by wavy locks of hair visible beneath the helmet's cheek guards. The flan fills the field entirely, with the portrait occupying the full diameter in high relief characteristic of the Sidetan civic coinage.

Reverse description Nike advancing to the left in three-quarter view, her large wings spread behind her, draped in a flowing chiton belted at the waist, extending her right arm forward as if crowning or bestowing a wreath. To the left of the field stands a pomegranate, the civic emblem of Side, above the two-letter magistrate monogram. Below the pomegranate appear the Greek letters AΦ serving as a control mark or magistrate abbreviation. The composition is rendered in vigorous Hellenistic style, the entire design enclosed within a plain border.
