Obverse description Helmeted head of Artemis or a youthful deity facing right, depicted in high relief with finely rendered facial features including a prominent nose, full lips, and a strong chin. The helmet is of Macedonian type, adorned with a crest and cheek guards, rendered with bold plasticity characteristic of late Hellenistic die-cutting. The hair is gathered beneath the helmet and falls in loose locks behind the neck. The field is unadorned, and no legend appears on the obverse.
