Obverse description Laureate and wreathed head of Artemis facing right, rendered in a stylized Celtic adaptation of Hellenistic portraiture. The deity is adorned with a prominent earring and a necklace of pellets representing pearls. The hair is depicted in flowing locks arranged beneath the wreath, with individual strands rendered in characteristic La Tène artistic style. The portrait occupies the full field of the flan, with the facial features exhibiting the abstracted, almost geometric treatment typical of northern Italic Celtic coinage of this period.
