Reverse description An ornate trident head depicted frontally, its three prongs rising prominently within a square incuse field, the central prong bearing a caduceus or serpentine device. The Doric abbreviation Φ-A, representing Phalasarna, is placed between the outer prongs. The overall design is enclosed by a beaded border, with the lower tines of the trident flanked by decorative foliate or wing-like elements typical of Cretan coinage of this period.
