The goddess's features are rendered in the fine Phocaean artistic tradition, with flowing hair emerging beneath the helmet's cheekpieces. The field is plain, and the relief displays characteristic craftsmanship of the Lucanian mint at Velia. A small delta (Δ) appears in the field as a magistrate's or control mark. |
