Obverse description Veiled and draped bust of Artemis Kindyas facing right, hair arranged in a knot at the nape; the effigy is set within a laurel wreath border. The goddess is depicted with fine drapery at the shoulder, rendered in the Hellenistic style characteristic of Carian civic coinage of the second century BC.
