Obverse description Bare head of the youthful deity Kabeiros facing left, rendered in fine archaic-to-classical Greek style. The figure wears a distinctive tall conical pileus cap characteristic of the Kabeiroi cult, with wavy hair emerging beneath its brim and falling in striated locks along the neck. Facial features are sharply engraved, with a well-defined nose, full lips, and a strong chin, conveying youthful vigour. The field is unlettered, the type serving as the principal civic emblem of the Bosporan colony of Phanagoreia.
