Reverse description A double-headed axe (labrys) depicted in profile at center, its long handle extending vertically downward, the broad symmetric blades flanking the upper shaft; this emblem serves as the principal civic badge of Tenedos. To the lower left of the handle, a figure of a crouching archer or kneeling figure with a small round object (possibly a wine amphora or bucranium); to the lower right, a standing draped figure, likely a magistrate or deity. The entire design is encircled by a laurel wreath, and the ethnic legend ΤΕΝΕΔΙΩΝ arcs across the upper field within the wreath.
