Obverse description Male head facing right, helmeted with a prominent crested Corinthian-style helmet, the crest rendered with fine detail. The bust is depicted in high relief with strong facial features characteristic of Hellenistic civic coinage. The entire design is enclosed within a laurel wreath border, whose leaves and berries are rendered in careful detail around the coin's circumference. The style reflects the regional Hellenistic engraving tradition of inland Asia Minor during the late Republican period.
