Obverse description Winged female figure of Iris depicted in the archaic kneeling-running pose (knielauf), facing right with head turned back to left; arms outstretched to either side. The figure is rendered in the early Classical style, with detailed wing feathering and flowing drapery characteristic of Carian coinage of the period.
