| Obverse description | Forepart of a winged boar advancing to right, rendered in high relief in the archaic Ionian style. The creature's muscular shoulders and bristled neck are finely detailed, with the large, boldly engraved wing sweeping upward and to the left, its feathers delineated by incised parallel curved lines. The snout is prominently thrust forward, and the forelegs are shown in motion. The field is plain and uninscribed. |

| Reverse description | Facing gorgoneion depicted in high relief at centre, with wide-set eyes, flared nostrils, a broad grimacing mouth with bared teeth, and a protruding tongue. Coiling serpents radiate around the head, their bodies rendered as curling tendrils filling the field. The entire design is set within a deeply recessed incuse square produced by the punch of the reverse die, a technique characteristic of early Ionian coinage. The field within the incuse is plain and bears no inscription. |
