Obverse description Nude warrior advancing on horseback to right, controlling the mount with the reins held in his left hand while raising a spear aloft in his right hand in a threatening gesture. The horse is depicted in full gallop with fine engraving of musculature and mane. The composition conveys dynamic energy characteristic of the Pamphylian artistic tradition of the late Classical period.

Reverse description A wild boar depicted in vigorous full gallop to the right, rendered with finely detailed bristled back and scaled body musculature in the high-relief style typical of Aspendian coinage. The animal is shown above a horizontal ground line, beneath which appears the partial civic ethnic inscription in archaic Greek characters. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border, with the legend occupying the exergual register below the ground line.
