Obverse description Facing left, the head of the nymph Terina is rendered in fine Greek style, adorned with a triple pendant earring and a pearl necklace. The hair is carefully arranged, conveying the naturalistic artistry characteristic of South Italian Greek coinage of the early third century BC. Behind the effigy, a triskeles motif runs to the right, serving as a secondary device in the field. The ethnic inscription TEPINAIΩN appears in Greek letters as the primary legend.
