| Obverse description | Laureate head of Poseidon facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with flowing wavy hair and a full beard, the laurel wreath clearly visible atop the deity's head. The portrait is executed with considerable sculptural depth, the hair and beard rendered in bold, undulating locks that fill much of the flan. The field is plain, and the irregular flan edge is typical of hammered Greek coinage of this period. |

| Reverse description | Nike standing facing, head turned to left, holding a wreath in her extended right hand and a trident in her left hand, the latter attribute linking her iconographically to Poseidon on the obverse. To the left of the figure, a monogram appears above the Greek letter Xi (Ξ), serving as a magistrate or mint control mark. The ethnic legend ΒΟΙΩΤΩΝ is disposed around the field, identifying the issuing authority as the Boeotian League. The overall composition is characteristic of late Hellenistic federal coinage from central Greece. |
