| Obverse description | Facing right, the laureate head of the nymph Histiaia is rendered in fine archaic-transitional style, her hair bound with a wreath of vine leaves and grape clusters. The portraiture displays characteristic fourth-century Euboean engraving, with delicate facial features and tightly curled locks framing the visage. The flan is irregular, as typical of hand-struck coinage of this period and region. |

| Reverse description | A bull stands to right in the field, depicted with robust, naturalistic musculature and careful attention to anatomical detail. Behind the bull rises a grapevine bearing two pendant clusters of grapes, an allusion to the viticultural prosperity of the region. To the right of the bull, an additional bunch of grapes further emphasizes the Euboean wine-growing tradition. The ethnic inscription ΙΣΤΙ appears in the lower field beneath the bull, rendered in archaic Greek script. The overall composition is well-centered within the coin's irregular round flan. |
