Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with detailed hair and a wreath of laurel leaves. The portrait displays strong, idealized facial features characteristic of late Republican-period Illyrian coinage. The Greek magistrate's name ΛΥΣΩΝ appears as a legend to the left of the bust, within a beaded border. The flan is irregular, as typical of hammered provincial silver of this period.
