Obverse description Female head facing right in the Hellenistic style, wearing a wreath or diadem adorned with ears of wheat, rendered with fine archaic-influenced engraving typical of Emporitane coinage. The hair is elaborately styled and falls in waves behind the neck. The portrait displays characteristics derived from Greek prototypes, reflecting the colony's strong ties to the Greek world. The flan is irregular and slightly off-center, as is characteristic of hammered provincial coinage of this period.
