Obverse description Draped female bust in right profile, her hair elaborately arranged in wavy tresses falling to the neck. The head is adorned with a wreath of grain ears, a characteristic attribute identifying the effigy as a fertility or Demeter-type deity, consistent with the Hellenistic artistic tradition of the Emporitani coinage. The facial features are rendered in the Greek style, with a well-defined profile, almond eye, and slightly parted lips. The flan is irregular, as is typical of hand-struck issues from this mint.
