| Reverse description | Deep square incuse divided into four triangular sections by two diagonal raised ridges meeting at the center, forming a mill-sail or windmill pattern oriented clockwise. The incuse is sharply cut with clean facets, typical of the early archaic Greek technique used to create the reverse impression during striking. The surrounding field is irregular and granular, consistent with the hammered fabric of the flan. |
