Obverse description Head of the nymph Larissa facing three-quarters to the right, her hair loosely bound and falling in thick locks about the neck, with a dotted border visible along the upper rim. The portrait is rendered in a bold, high-relief style characteristic of Thessalian coinage of the early fourth century BC, with softly modelled facial features and an archaic charm. No legend appears on the obverse.
