Reverse description Three fleurs-de-lis arranged in a 2-over-1 triangular configuration, occupying the central field within an inner beaded circle. The fleurs-de-lis are boldly struck and represent the royal arms of France. The circular legend surrounding the design includes the denomination and date, separated by cross stops. The overall design is characteristic of the Double Tournois type issued during the early reign of Louis XIII.
