| Obverse description | Laureate, cuirassed, and beardless bust of Henri III facing right, with a flat collar. The legend commences at 6 o'clock, encircling an inner circle of approximately 13 mm diameter. The mint letter T appears beneath the bust, in some varieties straddling the inner circle. Multiple die varieties are recorded, differing in the placement of the T relative to the circle and in the presence or absence of the inner circle on the obverse. |
