Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Henri III facing right, wearing an embossed collar emerging from a cuirass. The legend commences at 6 o'clock and is enclosed within a beaded circle. The mintmaster's mark PF (ligated or separate depending on variety), for Jacques Pierrefort (active 1582-1586), appears in the legend.
