| Obverse description | Panoramic view of the city of Colmar occupies the central field, with a winged cherub's head positioned below the cityscape. Flanking the cherub are two crowned shields: the arms of the city of Colmar on the left and the imperial arms on the right. The design is rendered in fine relief with meticulous detail typical of late 17th-century German civic coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition within a beaded border. |
