| Reverse description | Central field displays a heraldic composition of five crowned coats of arms arranged symmetrically: the Hungarian arms (horizontal bars) at left, the Austrian eagle shield at center, the Burgundian arms (diagonal stripes) at lower left, and additional dynastic shields flanking right, with a small escutcheon at the base supported by decorative mantling. The date 1505 is prominently split and integrated into the upper portion of the armorial arrangement, with the numerals 15 appearing to the left and 05 to the right of the central crowned shield. A beaded inner border frames the heraldic display, while the lengthy titulature legend in abbreviated Latin runs continuously around the outer margin. The overall composition reflects the ambitious dynastic claims of Maximilian I across his numerous territories. |
