| Reverse description | Central design features a finely engraved phoenix (fenghuang) perched amid sweeping plumage, with prominent decorative tail feathers displayed in the field. The phoenix motif, a traditional imperial symbol associated with the empress, is surrounded by concentric bands of repeating shou (longevity) and auspicious geometric fret patterns rendered in relief. The entire design is framed by an inner ring of raised beads and an outer dentilated milled border. The double happiness character 囍 appears repeated in a decorative register encircling the upper portion of the reverse field. |
