Obverse description Facing crowned bust of King Jaime II in high relief at center, rendered in a crude, archaic style typical of medieval Majorcan coinage. The king's face is depicted frontally with stylized facial features, flanked by curling hair or drapery. The bust is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend REX MAIORICARVM runs along the outer field, partially legible due to irregular flan and weak strike.

Reverse description A plain cross pattée occupies the center of the reverse, dividing the field into four equal quadrants within a beaded inner circle. The cross is boldly struck in the medieval Romanesque tradition, with slightly expanded arms. The outer legend IACOBVS DEI GRA encircles the design, referencing the king's name and divine authority, and is partially visible around the irregularly shaped flan.
