| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing a multi-line Arabic legend arranged in horizontal registers across the field, enclosed within a partial beaded or dotted border. The inscriptions, executed in a cursive Arabic script consistent with Ottoman thuluth or naskh calligraphic tradition, contain the royal titulature and name of Sultan Suleiman I. The irregular flan shows characteristic die-struck relief with slightly raised legends and a flat, uneven field typical of early sixteenth-century Ottoman hammered coinage. |
