Obverse description Central field occupied by multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic inscription arranged in a rectangular text block, characteristic of Abbasid-style silver dirhams. The central legend is enclosed within an inner circle, with a circular marginal legend in Arabic script running along the outer border. The die-struck design displays the typical formulaic religious text of the period, with slightly irregular flan edges consistent with hand-struck production.
