| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged within a circular border, typical of Chagatai Khanate coinage. The legend is executed in an angular, somewhat crude Naskh script characteristic of hammered provincial dirhams of this period. The inscription reads the kalima or ruler's titles, disposed across three or four horizontal lines filling the flan. The coin's irregular flan and flat striking are consistent with contemporary Central Asian hammered silver production.
