| Obverse description | Central field occupied by three horizontal lines of Arabic Kufic inscription conveying the Shahada and the word 'Yamini', arranged within a plain inner circle. The legends are boldly struck in relief, characteristic of early Ghaznavid hammered coinage. A marginal legend runs around the periphery within a beaded border, partially visible due to the small flan. The overall die workmanship reflects the transitional Samanid-influenced style adopted under Sebuktekin. |

| Reverse description | Central field displays multiple horizontal lines of Arabic Kufic inscription in high relief, naming the Abbasid caliph Al-Qadir Billah and the Ghaznavid ruler Yaminuddawlah Mahmud, along with the kunya Abu al-Qasim Muhammad and the Prophetic formula Rasul Allah. The legends are arranged in three or four registers within a plain inner circle, bordered by a marginal inscription and a beaded outer rim, partially cut off by the irregular small flan. The die style is consistent with late 10th-century eastern Islamic silver coinage produced at the Farwan mint. |
