Obverse description Central pellet surrounded by a two-line Arabic legend arranged concentrically in the field, invoking the Quranic title 'Khalifat Allah' (Deputy of God). A stylized decorative motif, possibly representing a bow or floral ornament, appears below the central inscription. The legends are rendered in a characteristic early Mongol epigraphic style, with angular Kufic-influenced lettering typical of thirteenth-century Central Asian hammered coinage. The flan is irregular in shape, consistent with hand-struck production of the period.
