Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic religious or royal inscription arranged in horizontal registers within a plain or linear border. The script is boldly struck in a typical Ghaznavid kufic or naskh style, with individual letter forms clearly delineated despite the irregular flan. The legend likely contains the Shahada or a royal titulature invoking the name of the Caliph and the Ghaznavid sultan Mas'ud III. Traces of a marginal inscription are visible along portions of the rim. The surface shows typical wear and patination consistent with a hammered copper issue of this period.

Reverse description Central field features a bold multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in horizontal registers, surrounded by a partial marginal legend encircling the flan. The script, executed in a Ghaznavid kufic or naskh hand, likely carries the mint name, regnal year, and additional elements of royal or religious titulature. The die work is characteristic of Ghaznavid copper coinage, with strong relief on a broad but irregularly shaped flan. Some areas of the legend are partially off-flan due to the irregular planchet. The coin exhibits dark patination with areas of surface corrosion typical of excavated copper dirhams.
