Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic religious and dynastic legend arranged within an unbordered square cartouche, reading in Kufic-influenced naskh script. The shahada or a portion thereof appears prominently in the uppermost register of the inscription. The surrounding field is plain, and the coin edge is irregular and flan-cracked, typical of hammered billon issues of the Western Qarakhanid Khaganate. The overall style reflects the epigraphic coinage tradition of Central Asian Islamic dynasties of the 12th century.

Reverse description Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in naskh script, arranged horizontally across the flan within an unbordered cartouche. The legend references the ruler's name and title, consistent with Qarakhanid coinage conventions attributing authority to Mas'ud ibn Hasan. The coin surface shows typical wear and porosity associated with billon alloy and hammered production, with a slightly concave flan and irregular raised rim. The script is cursive and shows the characteristic epigraphic style of Samarkand mint issues of this period.
