| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic religious legend arranged within a single linear inner circle, the shahada rendered in a bold, somewhat crude hammered style typical of Mongol-period Central Asian coinage. The inscription reads the Islamic declaration of faith across three lines, with flanking pellets visible at the mid-field register. A marginal band encircles the inner circle, itself bordered by an outer annular legend partially visible at the coin's irregular periphery. The flan is noticeably irregular and shows extensive green patination with areas of exposed copper substrate where the original silver wash has worn away. |
