Reverse description The reverse presents multiple horizontal lines of Arabic Naskh script filling the coin's field within an irregular beaded border. The legend contains the Abbasid Caliph's name and titles, along with the mint name Sivas (Siwas) and the date in the Islamic Hijri calendar. The calligraphy is bold and deeply incuse, consistent with the hammered technique employed at Seljuk provincial mints. A small star or pellet ornament is visible within the field as a decorative element between text lines. The coin's irregular flan results in partial legends at the periphery.
