Reverse description Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script arranged in horizontal registers, recording the names and titles of the Mongol overlords: the supreme Khan Möngke (Qaan al-a'zam Mongke Qaan) and the Ilkhan Hulagu Khan. The text is disposed in the characteristic tabular layout of Ilkhanid dirhams, with each line of the legend clearly delineated across the flan. A partial marginal legend encircles the central inscription along the inner border. The hammered flan is notably irregular, resulting in partial legends at the coin's edges.
