| Obverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend arranged in three or four horizontal lines within a plain inner border, surrounded by a beaded outer border. The inscription, rendered in angular Kufic-influenced Arabic script, references Islamic kalima formulae and royal titulature associated with the Mongol overlordship. The overall design is characteristic of the hammered coinage produced at the Ghazna mint during the early Mongol period, with slightly irregular flan edges typical of hand-struck issues. |
