Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in bold, slightly cursive script, reading the royal titulature of Khan Toqtamish. The inscription, reading 'Just Sultan Nasir ed-din Toqtamish Shah', is distributed across three or four lines and fills the flan in the characteristic Golden Horde epigraphic style. The lettering is raised in high relief against a flat, granular field typical of hammered coinage, with the irregular flan edge showing the characteristic clipped appearance of Jochid silver dirhams. No figural imagery is present, consistent with Islamic numismatic convention.

Reverse description The reverse field bears a multi-line Arabic mint and date legend disposed across the flan, identifying the place and year of issue. The inscription references the Saray al-Jadida mint and the AH date 782, corresponding to 1381 CE. The script is rendered in a bold, somewhat compressed Naskh hand consistent with Golden Horde workshop practice, with individual letter forms clearly separated. The overall composition is epigraphic throughout, with no ornamental border or decorative devices visible, and the surface shows typical die wear and hammer-strike irregularities.
