| Obverse description | Aniconic design consisting entirely of Arabic calligraphic legend disposed across the field in multiple lines, without border or decorative frame. The inscription names the ruler as Sultan the Just, Nasir ad-Din Tochtamysh Khan, rendered in bold Naskh-influenced script characteristic of late Golden Horde coinage. The flan is irregularly shaped, as typical of hammered Jochid dirhams, with the legend partially clipped at the margins.
