| Reverse description | Aniconic reverse bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription filling the field, recording the mint name and regnal year without decorative border. The legend identifies the place of issue as Ordu al-Mu'azzam (the Great Horde) and the date as AH 789 (AD 1387), in accordance with standard Golden Horde dirham typology. The script is rendered in a bold, somewhat cursive Naskh style, with letters crowding the irregular flan. Strike is characteristic of the period, with moderate weakness at the flan edges. |
