Reverse description Central field divided into two registers by a horizontal line, bearing the mint and date inscription in Arabic script. The upper register contains the mint name (Khwarizm) and the lower register the regnal year (811 AH), flanked by decorative pellets and foliate ornaments in the field. The bold, somewhat cursive Arabic lettering is characteristic of Jochid coinage struck at the Khwarizm mint. The irregular flan edge shows typical characteristics of hand-struck hammered coinage. Scattered pellets serve as decorative fillers in the remaining field areas.
