Obverse description Central field bears a multi-line Arabic legend in bold, slightly cursive script, reading the royal titulature of Sultan Pulad Khan, contained within a border of raised dots and a linear circle. Several prominent pellets are interspersed among the letter strokes, serving as decorative separators typical of late Golden Horde coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, characteristic of hand-hammered production. The relief of the inscription is bold and well-raised against the flat, granular field.
