Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, boldly struck in high relief against a flat, unadorned field. The inscription reads the royal titulature of Sultan Mohammed Nawruz Khan, proclaiming him 'the Just' and invoking the perpetuation of his reign. Lettering is characteristically angular and densely composed, typical of mid-14th-century Golden Horde hammered coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly elliptical, with the legend partially truncated at the periphery due to the small module. No border or decorative frame is present.
