Obverse lettering السلطان محمد اوزبكـ عادل
(Translation: Sultan Muhammad Öz Beg Khan the Just)
Reverse description The reverse field bears a multi-line Arabic mint and date legend, also arranged in a bold Naskh script within a framed quadrilateral format mirroring the obverse layout. The inscription records the place of issue as Saray al-Mahrusa ('the protected Saray') and the AH year of striking. The script is deeply impressed and broadly rendered, with individual letterforms somewhat compressed to fit the available die space. A linear inner border separates the central legend from the coin's irregular rim. The overall style and execution are consistent with the standard hammered silver dirham coinage of the Golden Horde under Muhammad Öz Beg Khan.
